WHAT YOU NEED IS WITHIN YOU
There is a force that is deeper than light’s push. A staggering thrust that propels you into motion. No one can teach it, no one can reach it. It lives and breathes only on the inside of you. Do you know what it is?
Drive.
Drive is man’s innate ability to push until the desired goal is reached.
Drive is what you have that causes you to move in the direction destiny has
carved out for you. You can’t explain it, you can’t question it either. You
just know it is bubbling up on the inside of you.
To turn away from it is to invite emptiness. To run too fast and go
ahead of it is to dine with danger. Your drive is just enough for your life’s
journey, and nothing is big enough to truly quench its flames.
You see, the biggest misconception of a man about life is assuming that
there is a destination to attain. Your life is a moving train, a revolving
door, that takes you from phase to phase. Every stop in life contributes to the
bigger picture of all that you must achieve. There is no destination – there is
only a journey. What you need to do is dig deep within your soul, find what
drives you and keep on moving with it.
Imagine you are a vehicle. For that vehicle to move from point one to
point two, it needs two things – its driver and its fuel. You are the driver and
hope must be your fuel.
Hope.
When the journey seems dark and lonely, pump yourself up with the hope
that the next phase would be better. When the bumps on the road make you lose
your balance and rhythm, fuel yourself with the hope that it does get smoother
soon.
Life is a miserable journey without hope. Whatever drives you must give
you a sense of hope that what is to come will only get better. Where there is
life, there is hope, and where there is hope, life is worth living. So quit
looking outside for what is already on the inside. Start the ignition and drive
yourself through your journey of hopefulness.
