EXERCISE: Physical exercise vs. Spiritual exercise (Pt. 4)
As we say goodbye to January 2018, I conclude my four-part series on physical and spiritual exercise. To read earlier parts, click here , here and here . One definition of exercise says; "Something performed or practiced in order to develop, improve, or display a specific capability or skill." 4. YOU MUST BE CONSISTENT This point can never be overemphasized. On-today-off-tomorrow doesn't get anybody anywhere. When you consistently work on improving yourself you would surely get better daily. Spiritually, when we make a lifestyle of praying, studying the Bible, fellowshipping, seeking God's face, we become more and more like Him. Our character is refined and we begin to operate in superior wisdom. We get closer and closer to being God-like in our thoughts, speech and actions.
